Daniel Perez Grande’s Expertise I am an Aerospace engineer with a high interest in Advanced Propulsion Systems. I have professional experience in the development of Rocket Engine systems (chemical and electric) as well as both Civil and Military Aircraft Engines. In 2018 I obtained a PhD on Plasma Physics, focused on advanced Ion Propulsion, particularly in the field of Hall Effect Plasma Accelerators and I am currently the CEO & Co-founder of a small startup, ienai SPACE, working to disrupt the on-board propulsion market. The Human exploration of Space stands as one of my life-long passions; however, I am also interested in global-scale problems and engineering solutions for issues in our developing world. Specifically, in innovative and non-incremental ("10x", "100x", etc.) solutions and "emerging" technologies. In this field, I have held a technical management position in an emerging technologies research group at Rolls Royce PLC. Additionally, I am also interested in the inter-dependencies of Science and Technology and governmental policies.
